We're looking for someone with a creative eye, a love of detail, and a genuine appreciation for craftsmanship to join our embroidery studio. This role combines traditional making skills with modern digital design, offering the opportunity to develop as both an artist and a creative professional through a fully funded Level 6 Creative Digital Design Professional Apprenticeship.

The Role

You'll begin working with us full\-time from August 2026, learning the foundations of our embroidery process and becoming part of our production team. In January 2027, you'll start your Creative Digital Design Professional Level 6 Apprenticeship alongside your role.

As a Pet Portrait Embroidery Artist Apprentice, you'll help bring customer portraits to life, working with both digital artwork and commercial embroidery machinery to create beautifully finished products.

No previous embroidery experience is required \- we'll teach you everything you need to know.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Preparing customer pet portraits for production

  • Reviewing personalisation details and artwork placement

  • Selecting garments, fabrics, and materials for each order

  • Loading embroidery files and templates into our systems

  • Framing and preparing items ready for stitching

  • Setting up thread colours and machine configurations

  • Operating and overseeing multiple embroidery machines

  • Maintaining equipment to ensure exceptional stitch quality

  • Contributing to a smooth and efficient studio workflow

  • Developing creative, digital, and design skills through your apprenticeship
Who We're Looking For

Bonus Points If You Have
  • Experience with embroidery, sewing, or textiles

  • An interest in illustration, graphic design, or branding

  • Familiarity with Shopify or ecommerce platforms

  • Experience using creative software

  • Previous experience working with machinery or production equipment
Your Apprenticeship

Alongside your role, you'll complete the:

Creative Digital Design Professional Apprenticeship \- Level 6

This will help you develop skills in:

  • Creative and digital design

  • Visual storytelling and branding

  • Design for ecommerce

  • Customer\-focused creative experiences

  • Digital production workflows

  • Professional creative practice
