Role purpose
The Marketing \& Business Development Leadwill support the firm’s growth by increasing brand awareness, strengthening the firm’s social media presence and supporting business development activity. The role focuses on raising profile, supporting lawyers with visibility and relationship‑building, and delivering practical marketing activity aligned with the firm’s Marketing Strategy.
Key responsibilities:
1\. Social media leadership
- Lead the firm’s social media presence,
- Plan and deliver regular, high‑quality content that promotes the firm’s expertise, values and culture.
- Support and encourage lawyers to build their professional profiles through guidance, templates and light‑touch support.
- Monitor engagement and adjust activity to maximise reach and impact.
- Ensure consistent use of the firm’s brand across all marketing and communications.
- Help develop and communicate the firm’s brand story, reinforcing its position as a leading law firm.
- Identify opportunities to promote the firm through external channels, events and partnerships.
- Oversee website content to ensure it is accurate, engaging and client‑focused.
- Work with lawyers to support the creation of news, insights and updates that demonstrate expertise and support SEO objectives.
- Liaise with external suppliers where needed.
- Support structured client communications such as newsletters and targeted updates.
- Assist with marketing activity that supports repeat instructions and cross‑selling.
- Ensure all communications are professional, compliant and appropriate for a regulated environment.
- Support the firm’s business development activity by identifying relevant networking opportunities and events for lawyers to attend.
- Lead on the planning and delivery of firm‑hosted events, including seminars and networking events.
- Encourage a structured approach to follow‑up and relationship‑building after events.
Salary offered will be dependent on experience.
Pay: From £30,000\.00 per year
