Manufacturing Development Engineer

The appointment of a Manufacturing Development Engineer will be a pivotal role at Rolls Royce SMR to ensure suppliers can successfully manufacture designed products.You will be reporting to our Senior Supply Chain Development Manager and your role will look like,
- Support suppliers in establishing manufacturing processes
- Verify repeatability and robustness of manufacturing operations
- Develop supplier capability to manufacture future programme requirements
- Assess supplier manufacturing capability
- Support manufacturing process development
- Train suppliers on best practice
- Validate repeatable manufacturing processes
We will need your application to showcase your experience and knowledge in the following areas:
- Manufacturing Engineer background
- Experience in manufacturing/process engineering environments
- Process improvement experience
- Training/coaching experience desirable
- HNC/HND desirable
This role can be based from our Derby, Manchester or Warrington office. Hybrid working is standard, with regular supplier travel required. Some international travel may also be required depending on supplier activity. In return we offer:
- A salary between £50,640 and £66,500 depending on experience
