Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Manager to join our dynamic team in a fast\-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities and a passion for hospitality, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service while maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. You will be spearheading our evening concept, so a drive to succeed and grow is a must!
Queenies was established in 2014, as an independent, urban, brunch\-style eatery; focusing on fresh food and priding ourselves on great service. We currently have restaurants in both Billericay and Chelmsford, with a third location pending.
Responsibilities
- Assist in overseeing daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring smooth service and adherence to quality standards.
- Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock to ensure efficient food production.
- Foster a positive team environment by motivating staff and promoting effective communication among team members.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen area.
- Handle customer inquiries and feedback professionally, resolving any issues that may arise during service.
- Assist with scheduling staff shifts to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours.
- A minimum of 1 years experience in a supervisory role within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen management. Confidence in working in a kitchen.
- Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team management and development.
- Previous experience in hospitality environments is essential.
- Barista experience is a essential for establishments serving coffee or specialty beverages.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with both staff and customers.
