Are you an experienced Maintenance Operative, Facilities Assistant, Handyperson or Field Service Technician looking for a varied, hands-on role?
We are looking for a practical and reliable Maintenance Operative to carry out planned and reactive maintenance across a range of outdoor installations throughout the South East. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working independently and travelling between sites.
The Role
You will be responsible for maintaining, repairing and servicing a range of installed products and infrastructure, ensuring they remain safe, secure and fully operational for customers.
Duties will include:
- Planned and reactive maintenance across multiple sites
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs
- Basic mechanical repairs and adjustments
- Site inspections and safety checks
- Preparing and managing tools, materials and spare parts
- Completing maintenance records and reports
- Supporting installation and relocation projects when required
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard
- Previous experience in a maintenance, facilities, property maintenance, field service or handyman role
- Good practical skills with hand and power tools
- Experience carrying out repairs and fault-finding
- Able to work independently and manage your own workload
- Comfortable travelling to different locations daily
- Strong understanding of health and safety
- Full UK driving licence
- Salary of £28,860
- Monday to Friday working hours
- No weekend work
- Company vehicle and tools provided
