Maintenance

Lace Market Hotel is a 51 bedroom boutique hotel in the centre of Nottingham. We are currently recruiting for a maintenance assistant to help the maintenance manager with the upkeep \& health \& safety of the hotel.

Your main duties will involve ensuring all of our rooms are well maintained and looking their best ready for our guests to check in

• Perform routine building maintenance duties, including painting, minor electrical repairs, plumbing \& carpentry


• Ensuring the interior and exterior of the building is clean and tidy


• Complete administrative duties, such as filling out forms and reporting maintenance statuses to manager


• Comply with all safety and health regulations


• Respond to emergency calls for maintenance and repairs


• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues


• Work with and maintain relationships with contracted vendors

The shift patterns of this role are flexible but will involve weekend work to ensure all our rooms are available and not out of order

Some previous experience either in this role or one of a similar type is essential.

We pride ourselves on ensuring that all our guests have a great stay with us and a major factor in this is that the hotel and their rooms looks the best it can and everything is in safe working order. We are therefore looking for someone with a passion to ensure things are done the right way and to the highest standard, so you will need to have a great eye for detail. We are a small \& friendly team here at the hotel and so a great personality and can do attitude is also essential.

Pay: £13\.50 per hour
