Logistics Front Line Manager

What You’ll Be Doing

• Driving a “Safety First” culture across all operations


• + ️ Supporting risk assessments and ensuring safe systems of work are followed


• Ensuring full compliance with H\&S standards, policies, and legislation


• Setting clear performance goals and ensuring teams are engaged and motivated


• Leading, coaching, and developing teams to achieve shift objectives


• Managing attendance, performance, and conduct in partnership with HR and unions


• Supporting recruitment, training, and development of team members


• ✅ Maintaining compliance with QAS and food safety standards


• Ensuring all goods are accurately prepared, loaded, secured, and documented


• Taking ownership of product integrity, traceability, and withdrawal processes


• Managing and controlling shift costs (labour, absence, waste, damage, etc.)


• Driving continuous improvement and leading positive change initiatives

‍* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams

• Analytical mindset with strong problem‑solving capability


• Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business


• A “completer‑finisher” with excellent attention to detail


• Confident communicator with a focus on best practice and improvement


• CPC qualification (or willingness to work towards it)
