Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Live\-in Carer to provide high\-quality, personalized care to individuals in their own homes. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in clients’ lives by supporting their daily activities, health, and well\-being while living on\-site. The ideal candidate will bring energy, empathy, and a proactive approach to caregiving, ensuring clients feel safe, comfortable, and valued every day.

Duties

• Provide comprehensive personal care including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility


• Support clients with medication administration following prescribed schedules and protocols


• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and preferences


• Assist with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe living environment


• Engage clients in meaningful activities and social interactions to promote mental well\-being


• Manage behavior effectively, especially in cases involving dementia or Alzheimer’s care


• Drive clients to appointments or outings as needed, ensuring safety at all times

Qualifications

• Proven assisted living or home care experience with a strong background in patient care


• Knowledge of nursing home procedures, hospice care, dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, and senior care best practices


• Certifications in first aid and medication administration are highly desirable


• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when required for mobility assistance or household tasks


• Valid driving license for transportation duties; clean driving record preferred


• Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage behavior management challenges effectively


• Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to improve clients’ quality of life
