Based in the Herefordshire village of Much Marcle, Westons Cider is an independent cider\-making company, making premium award\-winning ciders since 1880\.

We’re now looking for a Lead Transport Planner to play a vital leadership role in keeping our operations running smoothly.

Your opportunity

To lead the day\-to\-day planning and optimisation of a multi\-drop, multi\-day delivery fleet operating across the UK, ensuring deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, on time and in full whilst maintaining compliance with all road transport legislation and drivers’ hours regulations.

The Lead Transport Planner will be responsible for planning fleet movements, driver and shunter schedules, supplier collections, internal transfer movements and third\-party collections, whilst supporting continuous improvement across transport operations. The role will also support the development of planning systems, productivity reporting and transport optimisation processes to maximise fleet utilisation, reduce operational costs and improve service levels.

The role requires a highly organised, adaptable and proactive individual who can react effectively to changing operational demands whilst maintaining excellent communication with drivers, warehouse teams, suppliers, customers and internal departments.

Working Hours \- 09\.00\-17\.30 Monday \- Friday
