Laundry Engineering Manager
We now have a vacancy for a full time, Band 7 Laundry Engineering Team Manager to work at The Royal Oldham Hospital.
The post is permanent, 37\.5hrs per week, working Monday to Friday 6am\-2pm with flexibility to work across site. The opening hours are 6am \- 8pm with rotational Saturday working if required.
You will lead a team of engineers in the service \& maintenance of laundry equipment and will be a source of expert advice and support for users of the equipment.
As a leader of a multi\-disciplined team of Engineers, Engineering Technicians, and Clerical staff providing a laundry equipment management service, some of your duties are below (please see job description for full list of duties):
Communicate with and provide specialist advice to the team’s senior managers and colleagues with regard to the efficient running of the equipment.
Undertake testing and repair of a wide range of complex laundry equipment.
Undertake a range of duties in a deputising role for the Commercial Services Manager
Supervise work plans and work of staff.
Assist in identifying and managing risk associated with laundry equipment and support investigation of laundry equipment related incidents.
Act as a mentor and oversee training for engineers of all grades ensuring accurate and up to date records.
