Duties

• Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen equipment, utensils, pots, pans, and work surfaces


• Assist with basic food preparation tasks under the supervision of chefs or kitchen managers


• Ensure waste disposal is handled efficiently and recycling protocols are followed


• Support the organization of storage areas, including stock rotation and inventory checks


• Keep the kitchen environment safe by adhering to health and safety standards at all times


• Help with setting up dining areas and assisting serving staff during busy service periods

Experience

• Previous experience working in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential


• Experience working in a busy kitchen or catering setting will help you excel in this role


• Strong understanding of hygiene standards and safety procedures in food handling


• Enthusiastic attitude with a willingness to learn new skills in culinary operations


• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast\-paced environment
