Overview

Talasey Ltd is one of the UK's leading independent suppliers of landscaping solutions. We pride ourselves on providing good quality products and excellent customer service.

We are looking for a hands\-on Junior Website Developer to look after our two websites: a B2B information site for trade customers and partners, and a B2C e\-commerce store selling directly to consumers. You will keep both sites fast, secure and up to date, and work day to day with our social marketing team to turn campaigns into traffic, enquiries and online sales.

This is a practical role with real ownership. It suits someone early in their career who wants to see the direct commercial impact of their work and grow into a senior or e\-commerce specialist role.

Key responsibilities

B2B information website

  • Maintain and update site content, product and service information, case studies and downloadable resources.

  • Build new landing pages and forms that capture trade enquiries and pass leads to the sales team or CRM.

  • Keep the site secure: apply CMS, plugin and hosting updates, manage backups and SSL certificates.

  • Monitor uptime, page speed and broken links, and fix issues promptly.
B2C e\-commerce website
  • Add and update products, pricing, images, stock levels, promotions and discount codes.

  • Maintain checkout, payment gateway and delivery integrations so customers can buy without friction.

  • Improve conversion through A/B tests, better product pages, faster load times and a smooth mobile experience.

  • Troubleshoot order, payment and display issues with customer service and third\-party suppliers.
Working with the social marketing team
  • Build campaign landing pages, seasonal banners and promotional pages to agreed deadlines.

  • Set up and maintain tracking: Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel and other social ad tags.

  • Connect social shop and product catalogue feeds (for example Meta, Instagram, TikTok and Google Shopping).

  • Report monthly on traffic, enquiries, conversion rate and online revenue, and suggest improvements.

  • Apply on\-page SEO best practice to grow organic traffic to both sites.
Across both sites
  • Ensure sites meet accessibility (WCAG 2\.2 AA), UK GDPR and cookie consent requirements.

  • Keep simple documentation of how each site is built, hosted and updated.

  • Liaise with external agencies, hosting providers and developers when specialist work is needed.

  • Working knowledge of Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager.

  • Basic understanding of on\-page SEO, site speed and web accessibility.

  • Comfortable using Git and managing hosting, domains and DNS at a basic level.

  • Clear communicator who can explain technical issues to non\-technical colleagues and manage several requests at once.
Desirable
  • PHP and/or Shopify Liquid templating.

  • Experience with social commerce and ad tracking (Meta Pixel and Conversions API, TikTok, Google Merchant Centre).

  • CRM or email marketing integrations (for example HubSpot, Mailchimp or Klaviyo).
