TimesGroup Ltd is looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our growing Facilities Management Division.
This is a field\-based role covering the North West, Yorkshire and the Midlands, carrying out electrical maintenance and installation works across a varied portfolio of commercial and residential properties.
You'll be responsible for a combination of reactive maintenance, fault finding, testing and inspection, planned preventative maintenance (PPMs), compliance works and installation projects. The role will also involve solar PV maintenance and installation, so previous solar experience is essential.

What we offer

- 40\-hour working week, Monday–Friday

You'll be responsible for carrying out a wide range of electrical works, including:
- Reactive electrical fault finding and repairs
- Electrical installation and maintenance works
- Inspection and testing (EICRs)
- PPM and compliance works
- Fault finding and diagnostics
- Small electrical installation and refurbishment projects
- Solar PV maintenance, fault finding and installation works
- Testing, inspection and remedial works
- Lighting and emergency lighting systems
- Consumer unit and distribution board works
- General electrical repairs and alterations
- Working across commercial, residential, education, healthcare and facilities management environments
- Accurately completing job reports using a PDA/mobile device
- Providing a professional service to clients and building occupants
- Participating in overtime and an out\-of\-hours call\-out rota when required
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- 2391 Inspection \& Testing – essential
- Previous solar PV experience – essential
- NVQ Level 3 / City \& Guilds Electrical qualification
- ECS/JIB card preferred
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Experience carrying out reactive maintenance and electrical installation works
- Strong fault\-finding and diagnostic skills
- Ability to carry out EICRs and associated remedial works
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to work across a variety of environments
