As Senior Performance Marketing Executive, you will plan, deliver, and optimise targeted campaigns that generate high\-quality leads and measurable results. You will develop performance\-focused campaigns and messaging that convert audiences into enquiries, bookings, and commercial opportunities.

Working closely with the Marketing Manager and wider team, you will help deliver campaign activity aligned to organisational priorities and translate objectives into effective, measurable campaigns.

Your work will focus on lead generation, conversion, and campaign performance, complementing longer term brand building activity. You will play a key role in ensuring marketing activity is targeted, efficient, and results\-driven.

Scope of work

The responsibilities below outline the key areas of focus for the role. As part of a fast\-paced marketing team, priorities may shift, so flexibility, collaboration, and a proactive approach are essential. You will work across projects and contribute to shared team goals.

Lead Generation \& Campaign Delivery:

  • Plan, build, and manage multi\-channel performance campaigns across paid and digital channels (e.g. Google Ads, LinkedIn, Meta)

  • Develop and optimise campaign funnels, including retargeting, landing pages, and nurture activity

  • Write and adapt performance\-focused copy, including ads, headlines, and calls to action

  • Monitor and improve campaign performance to increase lead generation, conversion, and engagement
Campaign Planning, Copy \& Optimisation:
  • Plan and deliver campaigns aligned to organisational priorities

  • Write and adapt performance\-focused copy, including ads, headlines, landing pages, and calls to action

  • Develop and test multiple variations to support A/B testing and optimisation

  • Monitor and improve conversion performance and user journeys

  • Work with the Marketing Manager and team to shape targeting, messaging, and campaign approach.

  • Support the development of campaign creative assets, including photography, video, and design materials, working collaboratively with the wider team and external suppliers where required.
Reporting \& Insights:
  • Track and report on key campaign metrics, including leads, conversion rates, and engagement.

  • Use data and insight to refine campaigns and improve results.

  • Share performance insights with the Marketing Manager and wider team
Cross\-Team Campaign Support:
  • Work with internal teams to understand priorities, campaign objectives, and audience needs

  • Translate organisational requirements into effective marketing activity and campaign briefs

  • Support wider communications and promotional activity, including PR, stakeholder communications, and event promotion where appropriate

  • Collaborate with colleagues, CRM/data support, and external suppliers to ensure joined\-up campaign delivery
Collaboration \& Ways of Working:
  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop campaign messaging, creative assets, and supporting content

  • Collaborate with data/CRM support to ensure accurate tracking and targeting

  • Work with external suppliers and partners, including designers, photographers, videographers, and agencies, where required

  • Support wider communications and promotional activity where needed, contributing to a joined\-up approach across brand and performance marketing

Experience \& Skills

Essential:

  • Experience delivering performance marketing campaigns across digital channels (e.g. Google Ads, LinkedIn, Meta or similar)

  • Ability to write clear, concise, and persuasive copy tailored to digital channels and conversion objectives

  • Strong understanding of lead generation, conversion funnels, and campaign optimisation

  • Ability to plan, manage, and optimise multi\-channel campaigns to deliver measurable results

  • Experience tracking and interpreting key performance metrics (e.g. leads, conversion rates, CTR)

  • Ability to use data and insight to improve campaign performance and decision\-making

  • Experience working with landing pages and improving conversion and user journeys

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and priorities

  • Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders and translate objectives into effective campaigns

  • Good written communication skills and ability to contribute to campaign messaging and calls to action

  • Relevant marketing qualification or equivalent experience
Desirable:
  • Experience using paid media platforms (e.g. Google Ads, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Meta Ads Manager)

  • Familiarity with analytics and tracking tools (e.g. Google Analytics or similar)

  • Experience supporting A/B testing and campaign experimentation

  • Understanding of CRM systems and lead nurture journeys

  • Experience working with email marketing and automation platforms (e.g. DotDigital or similar)

  • Basic understanding of content marketing and campaign performance

  • Experience in a B2B, membership, or not\-for\-profit environment

  • Experience supporting campaigns for events, training, or commercial services
