Java Developer

Workplace: Porto (Hybrid)

Role:

• Maintenance, support and development of new application features;


• Active participation in an Agile development team throughout the entire development lifecycle;


• Sharing knowledge and suggesting improvements to team routines, as well as technical improvements;


• Contribution to the team's documentation.

Profile:

• Degree in Information Technology or Computer Engineering;


• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience with Java 8 or above;


• Experience with JUnit, Maven and Git;


• Proficiency in Linux environments;


• Experience with the Hadoop ecosystem (Java, Spark and Hive);


• Solid knowledge of relational databases;


• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices;


• Experience with frameworks such as Spring Boot and React will be considered an advantage;


• Knowledge of Jenkins and other CI/CD tools will be considered an advantage;


• Familiarity with Perl will be considered an advantage;


• Fluency in Portuguese and advanced English proficiency;


• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;


• Good organizational, analytical and problem\-solving skills;


• Ability to work independently, with a strong sense of responsibility and a collaborative mindset.
