What You’ll Be Doing
Lead \& Inspire
- Manage and develop a high\-performing Network Operations team
- Create a culture of continuous improvement, ownership, and collaboration
- Take full responsibility for a large\-scale Cisco Meraki environment (MX, MS, MR)
- Drive performance, resilience, and scalability across all services
- Lead network upgrades, deployments, and lifecycle management
- Shape and support hybrid cloud networking in Azure
- Oversee WAN, LAN, VPN, SD\-WAN, and wireless environments
- Ensure seamless connectivity across a geographically distributed estate
- Introduce and expand automation (PowerShell / Python)
- Reduce manual effort and improve operational consistency
- Move towards infrastructure\-as\-code principles
- Work closely with security teams on Cyber Essentials Plus \& ISO 27001
- Oversee firewalls, IDS/IPS, segmentation, and secure access controls
- Support audits, risk management, and incident response
- Own technical delivery of network projects including:
+ Connectivity transformations
+ Telephony rollouts (VoIP/SIP)
+ Platform enhancements
What You’ll Bring
- Strong leadership experience managing technical teams
- Proven background in enterprise networking (multi\-site environments)
- Deep expertise in Cisco Meraki (essential)
- Experience with Azure networking and hybrid environments
- Solid knowledge of network security, SD\-WAN, VPNs, and routing/switching
- Exposure to automation tools and scripting
- Ability to deliver complex infrastructure projects end\-to\-end
