We are a busy and growing company specialising in trailers, trailer parts and accessories, and we are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and practical person to join our team.
This is a varied role combining IT, e\-commerce, website management, social media and general business duties. We are ideally looking for someone with previous experience in these areas, particularly website design/management and eBay.
The position can be full\-time or part\-time, depending on the right candidate.
What You'll Be Doing
- Managing and updating our eBay store, including listings, orders and customer enquiries.
- Managing and updating our company website, including adding products, editing content and making improvements.
- Assisting with website design and development — experience with website builders, e\-commerce platforms, HTML/CSS or similar would be an advantage.
- Managing and updating our Facebook and other social media accounts.
- Taking photographs and creating content for products and social media where required.
- Processing online orders and preparing goods for dispatch.
- Picking, packing and organising orders ready for collection or delivery.
- Sorting incoming and outgoing deliveries.
- Assisting with stock control and organising trailer parts and other products.
- Providing general IT support and helping with computer\-based tasks.
- Carrying and moving goods when required, as some products and parts can be heavy.
- Helping with other general duties around the business as required.
Ideally, you will have some previous experience in IT, e\-commerce, website management or online retail.
We're particularly interested in someone who:
- Has experience managing or designing websites.
- Is confident using computers and willing to learn new systems.
- Has experience with eBay or other online selling platforms.
- Has an understanding of social media and creating online content.
- Is organised and has good attention to detail.
- Is reliable, hardworking and able to use their own initiative.
- Is comfortable working in both an office/computer environment and a more hands\-on warehouse environment.
- Is physically capable of moving heavier goods when required.
- Has a flexible attitude and is happy to get involved in different areas of the business.
Previous experience in website design, e\-commerce, eBay, social media or IT would be a strong advantage.
We are not necessarily looking for someone who can do everything from day one. Training can be provided for the right person, but a genuine interest in IT, websites and online sales is important.
