Bench IT require an experienced Coordinator / Administrator to join a global organisation, your role as the IT Coordinator for Technology refresh is to coordinate and document the information related to the replacement of all IT devices and equipment that have reached their end-of-life maturity or lease-completion date.
Using our in-house IT systems, data analysis and efficient and effective stakeholder management, you will identify and coordinate weekly technology refresh activity across all our sites.
Required skills and knowledge
- Strong organisational, prioritisation and time-management
- Excellent working knowledge of Excel – including more complex functions such as VLookup, Formulas and Summary functions
- Concise written and verbal communication skills
- Tenacity to resolve replacement issues smartly and with minimal impact to the users
- Analysis of data from multiple IT systems & Excel sources to track and identify equipment due for refresh and to monitor and project future demands
- Coordinate with users to arrange suitable refresh appointment that are sympathetic to location, software or unique requirements
- Prepare and distribute the build and refresh schedules
- Maintain accurate and complete asset registers
- Receive replaced equipment, determine the correct actions and arrange for storage, lease returns or decommissioning & recycling.
- Track and highlight equipment due for return by leavers
- Investigate and track any lease-equipment anomalies, determining their correct status
