Welder

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Welder / Fabricator to join a busy manufacturing environment on a temporary basis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for MIG welding and fabricating metal components, working from technical drawings and specifications to produce high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities

• MIG welding using power and hand tools.


• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.


• Fabricating and welding metal components to required standards.


• Completing production and quality records.


• Carrying out product testing and quality checks.


• Reporting faulty equipment, maintenance requirements or repairs to the supervisor.


• Safely moving products using cranes and other workshop equipment.


• Maintaining a safe, clean and organised working environment.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience in MIG welding and fabrication.


• The ability to read and work from technical drawings.


• Good attention to detail and a commitment to quality.


• A reliable and practical approach to work.


• Good awareness of workshop health and safety.


• Experience using workshop tools and equipment.


• Crane or lifting equipment experience would be advantageous.
