Requirements
To succeed in this role, you are structured, analytical, and self\-driven. You enjoy improving processes, creating clarity in complex environments, and working with data that enables better decisions. You take ownership of your specialist area, with the ability to work independently, and collaborate effectively with others to move work forward.
You are comfortable working with both technical and non\-technical stakeholders and can communicate well in both Swedish and English. You are service\-minded, thorough, and understand the importance of reliable asset and configuration data in supporting service delivery, compliance, and long\-term development.
Required skills
- We believe that you have a university degree in technology and IT or equivalent knowledge gained through work experience.
- Strong expertise in CMDB, hardware/software asset management, and IT Service Management.
- High proficiency in designing and working with schemas, configuration items (CI), integrations, data discovery and relationship mapping between systems.
- Practical experience working within the ITIL framework.
- Training, support, and stakeholder collaboration
- System or application administration, specifically Atlassian with Jira Service Management and Assets
- Besides ITIL, it is an advantage if you have experience with other IT and cybersecurity frameworks and have worked in regulated or security\-sensitive environments.
As our IT Asset \& Configuration Management Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in implementing and governing our IT Asset Management (ITAM) and Configuration Management (CMDB) capabilities in a global space\-tech environment.
Your work will ensure accurate, reliable, and actionable asset and configuration data to support better service delivery, compliance, and decision\-making.
You will design, introduce, and support solutions with system owner responsibility for IT asset lifecycle management, CMDB structure, and governance. This role combines strategic thinking and operational expertise, turning ideas into solutions that work in practice.
Main Tasks
As the specialist and system owner of our CMDB platform, you will:
- Design, implement, and continuously improve the CMDB structure to create a trusted source of truth that accurately reflects IT services, relationships, and dependencies.
- Establish governance frameworks and ways of working for asset and configuration data together with IT and other business units.
- create and maintain reliable integrations between the CMDB, asset data sources, and enterprise systems.
- support ITSM processes (incident, problem, change) with reliable and actionable data.
- monitor and improve data quality through KPIs and reporting.
- improve IT asset lifecycle processes.
- provide documentation and training to stakeholders.
- ensure alignment with security and compliance requirements.
- participate in or lead IT projects related to the area.

The position is located either in Kiruna or in Solna and may involve some limited and plannable travel. The position is organized in the IT Workplace \& Collaboration Services team within Group IT.
