Internal & External Quality Auditor Engineering

Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare and conduct internal quality audits across different departments, processes and projects.


• Assess compliance with the company's Quality Management System, internal procedures and applicable industry standards.


• Support and coordinate external audits, including audits performed by customers, certification bodies or regulatory organizations.


• Prepare audit plans, checklists, reports and supporting documentation.


• Identify and document non\-conformities, observations, risks and opportunities for improvement.


• Follow up on corrective and preventive actions and ensure findings are properly addressed and closed within agreed timelines.


• Perform root\-cause and corrective\-action follow\-up together with the responsible teams.


• Verify the effectiveness of corrective actions implemented following audit findings.


• Support teams in preparing for customer, certification and regulatory audits.


• Ensure appropriate traceability and maintenance of audit evidence and documentation.


• Monitor compliance with applicable quality standards and internal requirements.


• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Quality Management System.


• Provide guidance to operational and engineering teams regarding quality requirements and audit expectations.


• Prepare and communicate audit results and key findings to relevant stakeholders and management.


• Support quality reviews, process assessments and improvement initiatives.

• Previous professional experience within Quality Assurance, Quality Management or Quality Auditing.


• Strong experience conducting internal and/or external audits.


• Experience working within an industrial, engineering, aerospace, defence, automotive or similarly regulated environment.


• Good understanding of ISO 9001 and Quality Management Systems.


• Knowledge of EN9100 / AS9100 would be a strong advantage.


• Experience managing non\-conformities, corrective actions and root\-cause analysis.


• Familiarity with audit preparation, execution, reporting and follow\-up.


• Experience interacting with customers, certification bodies and different internal departments.


• Knowledge of additional aerospace/defence standards or regulatory requirements would be considered an advantage.

• Strong analytical and critical\-thinking skills.


• Ability to assess processes objectively and identify compliance gaps.


• Structured and methodical way of working.


• Strong communication and stakeholder\-management skills.


• Ability to challenge teams constructively while maintaining a collaborative approach.


• Good reporting and documentation skills.


• Attention to detail and strong organizational capabilities.
