We are recruiting for an Insight & Governance Team Member to join a high-profile public-sector organisation on an interim contract. A data-focused admin and governance support role within the Met’s Referencing & Vetting team. The role supports performance, reporting, recruitment processes, and governance to help the business run effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Support end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes
- Provide data analysis, reporting, and insights to support performance
- Assist with training coordination and development activities
- Maintain risk registers and support governance processes
- Manage meetings (agendas, minutes, tracking actions)
- Handle FOI requests and audit requirements
- Support workforce planning and general operational activity
Core Skills
- Strong organisation and prioritisation skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good communication skills (written & verbal)
- Ability to analyse data and explain it clearly
- Confident using Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Able to manage multiple tasks and work to tight deadlines
- Background in admin, coordination, or support roles
- Experience working with data or reporting
- Comfortable working with a range of stakeholders
- Proven ability to problem solve and meet deadlines
- Senior leadership (SLT / Directors)
- Internal teams (HR, Finance, Workforce Planning)
- External partners (e.g. agencies, DBS, government bodies)
- Rate: £19.49 per hour PAYE or £25.25 per hour Umbrella
- Location: Sidcup, Kent (fully officed-based)
- Contract length: 3 months (view to extend)
