The Role
We are a growing and ambitious fastener company looking for a driven, organised, and customer\-focused individual to join our internal sales team as an Inside Sales Account Manager.
This is a fast\-paced role focused on managing customer accounts, developing relationships, generating repeat business, and delivering excellent customer service. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting existing customers while identifying opportunities to grow sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day\-to\-day customer accounts, quotations, and orders
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to increase sales and repeat business
- Handle customer enquiries via telephone and email
- Manage B2B webshop enquiries and follow up on quotations
- Proactively identify opportunities to grow customer spend and develop accounts
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure excellent customer service and order fulfilment
- Attend exhibitions and trade shows when required
- Maintain accurate customer records and sales administration
- Strong sales background with a proven track record
- Previous experience in an internal sales, account management, or sales office role
- Fastener industry experience preferred but not essential
- Strong IT skills including Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Excellent communication and professional telephone manner
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast\-paced environment
- English \& Maths to A\-Level standard or equivalent
- A proactive and motivated individual with a strong customer focus
- Someone confident building long\-term customer relationships
- A team player with excellent communication and organisational skills
- A candidate who takes ownership and thrives in a busy sales environment
This is a fast\-paced and commercially focused role requiring previous sales experience and strong communication skills. Applications without relevant sales experience will not be considered.
Salary negotiable depending on experience and suitability for the role.
Job Type: Full\-time
Pay: £28,000\.00\-£38,000\.00 per year
