Field Service Engineer
Spring Machinery Industry
Our company is a growing UK supplier of spring manufacturing machinery, supplying and servicing customers across the UK and Europe.
We are currently looking for a hands\-on field service engineer to join our team and support us with machine repairs, servicing, installations, and customer assistance.
This role would suit someone practical and mechanically minded, who enjoys problem solving and working directly with machinery. Previous experience in the spring industry is not essential, but a good engineering understanding and willingness to learn are very important.
Main Responsibilities
- Repairing and servicing spring manufacturing machinery
- Assisting customers with technical issues and troubleshooting
- Supporting machine installations and commissioning
- Diagnosing mechanical and basic electronic faults
- Providing technical support both onsite and remotely
- Working closely with our technical and sales teams
- Hands\-on and practical approach
- Mechanical engineering knowledge
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems
- Basic understanding of electronics / CNC machinery preferred
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills
- Good communication skills with customers
- Full UK driving licence preferred
We are not necessarily looking for someone with decades of experience. Attitude, reliability, manual skills and willingness to learn are just as important to us.
