Location: Gravesend, Kent
Salary:£27,000 – £29,500 per annum (depending on experience)
Hours: Full\-time, 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday)

Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and organised HR Officer to support the delivery of HR services across the organisation. You will play a key role in supporting managers with day\-to\-day HR matters, ensuring policies and procedures are followed, and contributing to a positive and compliant working environment. This is a varied role within a fast\-paced care setting, requiring strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide first\-line HR advice to managers on employee relations matters
- Support absence management processes, including monitoring triggers and maintaining accurate records
- Assist with formal HR processes such as disciplinary, grievance and absence meetings (including note\-taking)
- Support recruitment and onboarding processes to ensure a smooth candidate and new starter experience
- Maintain accurate and up\-to\-date employee records within HR systems
- Support compliance requirements, including training monitoring and reporting in line with regulatory standards (e.g. CQC)
- Assist with reviewing and updating HR policies and procedures in line with UK employment legislation
- Support audits and ensure HR documentation is compliant and accessible
- Contribute to HR projects and continuous improvement of processes
- Promote equality, diversity and inclusion across the organisation
- Support employee wellbeing initiatives
- Previous experience in an HR administrative or HR Officer role
- Good understanding of UK employment law and HR processes
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- CIPD Level 3 (or working towards CIPD level 5\)
- Experience within a health or social care environment
- Experience using HR systems
- This role may require occasional travel to services
- You will be required to work in line with company policies and regulatory standards
