HR Assistant
Spring Hall Group Practice has a great opportunity for an Administration Team Leader to join the management team on a permeant full time basis. We are a well\-established and growing GP Practice Group with five surgeries, and we have a keen interest in supporting the surrounding communities.
We are looking for a highly organised and detail‑oriented HR Administrative Assistant to join our busy Human Resources team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys administrative work, has strong communication skills.
You will provide essential support across a range of HR functions, ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operations and a positive employee experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update staff records in line with NHS policies
- Support recruitment processes (posting jobs, arranging interviews)
- Assist with onboarding new staff, including pre\-employment checks
- Help manage confidential HR documents and files
- Respond to basic staff HR queries (with support where needed)
- Support DBS checks, right\-to\-work checks, and reference requests
- Assist with training records and compliance tracking
- Provide general administrative support to the Practice Manager / HR team
Essential Skills \& Experience
- Previous administrative or office experience
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Previous experience working in HR or recruitment
- Knowledge of HR systems (e.g., ESR, NHS systems, or HR software)
