HR Advisor
Salary: £30,000\-£35,000 per annum \| Hours: 37\.5 hours per week, full time \| Location: Faithfull House, Suffolk Square, with regular travel to our care homes

We are looking for a practical, approachable and compassionate HR Advisor to join our team. You will be a trusted source of support for managers and colleagues throughout the employee lifecycle, helping people feel listened to and treated fairly while ensuring that our policies are applied consistently and our workforce standards remain high. It is a varied and rewarding opportunity to use your HR expertise in an organisation where your work will help colleagues provide the very best care.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise and support managers on attendance, investigations, disciplinary matters, grievances and capability concerns.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, pre\-employment checks and induction.
- Maintain accurate workforce records and support CQC, safer recruitment and right\-to\-work compliance.
- Support Sponsor Management System administration and provide immigration support for sponsored workers.
- Maintain employee information in the HR information system and produce timely, accurate workforce reports.
- Support employees using Stream to access earned salary before payday.
- Review HR policies and guidance in response to legislative, regulatory and organisational change.
- CIPD Level 5 qualified, working towards a CIPD Level 5 qualification, or able to demonstrate equivalent relevant HR experience.
- Current practical knowledge of UK employment law.
- Experience of supporting employee relations cases.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship\-building skills, with an approachable and empathetic manner, together with excellent attention to detail, communication, planning and organisational skills. You will also have good IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and confidence using HR information systems and other digital platforms.
- Experience in a regulated environment is desirable.
This is an office\-based role with regular travel to our care homes to work directly with staff and management teams.
