To maintain a professional, cordial and productive relationship with all other members of staff and departments

· To be smartly presented in correct uniform at all times

· To work with the team in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness, in accordance with correct procedures and administration.

· To ensure agreed standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained in all public areas in accordance with correct procedures, routines and hygiene requirements, this includes external and internal areas of the hotel.

· To maintain the set\-up, upkeep and cleanliness of the bedrooms in accordance with correct procedures, routines and hygiene requirements.

· To ensure that all equipment, furniture and furnishings are maintained, checked and kept in good working order and all relevant faults are reported and recorded appropriately.

· To ensure laundry is dealt with in accordance with standards and procedures for washing, drying, storing and recording.

· To liaise with your supervisor and manager to ensure that the guest’s expectations are consistently met and where possible exceeded and all special requirements are dealt with promptly and efficiently.

· To ensure that complaints or feedback from guests are dealt with in a timely and cost effective manner and reported to the relevant manager.

· To ensure lost property is labelled and stored securely as per procedures.

· To take all reasonable steps to ensure the safety of guests, property and the building.

· Ensure all stores, the basement and cupboards are kept clean and tidy at all times.

· Ensure cleaning chemicals are stored in accordance with Health and safety and COSHH guidelines.

· Carry out any other duties required by the Room Division Manager and Housekeeping Supervisors.

· In conjunction with the Room Division Manager and liaising with all relevant departments, ensure periodic and deep cleaning is carried out.

· To carry out any reasonable request made by a member of senior management.

· To have a knowledge and understanding of company mission, vision and values and to work in accordance with these principles at all times.
