Your new role:

We are looking for a reliable and detail\-oriented Housekeeper to join our warehouse team.

This role plays a vital part in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for both employees and visitors. You will deliver a high standard of housekeeping across site, ensuring all facilities are well\-maintained and compliant with Health and Safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

· Clean and maintain all toilet and washroom facilities to a high standard

· Clean and tidy all kitchen and break areas within the warehouse

· Handle and dispose of waste and refuse safely and efficiently

· Replenish consumables including:

· Toiletry supplies (hand towels, soap, toilet paper, etc.)

· Catering supplies (tea, coffee, sugar, etc.)

· Monitor stock levels and inform the Line Manager when supplies need replenishing

· Check expiry dates of consumable items

· Ensure safe and economical use of cleaning products and equipment

· Follow all Health and Safety procedures, including manual handling, PPE use, and safe handling of equipment

· Prioritise tasks effectively to meet daily and ad hoc cleaning requirements

What you’ll need to succeed:

Experience \& Expertise

· Previous professional cleaning or housekeeping experience

· Experience working in a warehouse, industrial, or commercial environment (desirable)

Skills

· Good communication skills

· Strong attention to detail with a methodical approach to work

· Ability to manage workload and prioritise tasks effectively

· Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities throughout the day

Qualifications

· Level 2 Literacy \& Numeracy (or equivalent)

This is a full\-time, temporary position. Core hours of work are 10:00am to 6:30pm, Monday to Friday. The role is being offered with hybrid option meaning you would be site\-based Monday and Tuesday and a further third day of your choice, with 2 days from home.
