Warehouse Supervisor

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a solid understanding of warehouse processes. This role is crucial in ensuring efficient logistics, materials handling, and team management within a fast\-paced environment.

Duties

• Supervise daily warehouse operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.


• Manage and lead a team of warehouse staff, providing training and support to enhance performance and productivity.


• Oversee shipping and receiving processes, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfilment.


• Coordinate logistics activities, including inventory management, stock control, and materials handling.

• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to maintain operational efficiency.


• Facilitate communication between departments to ensure smooth workflow across the supply chain.


• Implement best practices for heavy lifting techniques to ensure the safety of all team members.

Experience

• Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory role or similar position is essential.


• Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of warehouse operations are required.


• Experience with logistics, shipping, receiving, and materials handling is highly desirable.


• Demonstrated ability to manage teams effectively while fostering a positive work environment.


• Familiarity with 3PL (third\-party logistics) operations is an advantage.


• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks in a fast\-paced setting.
