Self\-Employed Cleaner / Housekeeper – Rental Properties

Two Positions Available – Oxford

Self\-employed positionPay: £15 per hour Monday–Saturday \| £20 per hour SundaysVariable hours: typically 16–20 hours per week, depending on bookingsWeekend availability essentialDriving licence and own vehicle required

• Deep cleaning and sanitising all areas, including bathrooms, kitchens, bedrooms, and living spaces


• Changing bed linens and towels to ensure a fresh, hotel\-standard presentation


• Checking stock levels of linens, toiletries, and guest supplies


• Logging and preparing the correct quantity of laundry for our external laundry company (weekly collection)


• Managing linen rotation and ensuring accurate counts are recorded


• Restocking essentials such as toiletries, tea, coffee, and cleaning supplies


• Ensuring properties are guest\-ready with strong attention to detail and presentation


• Spot\-checking for maintenance issues and reporting them promptly


• Managing waste disposal, ensuring bins are emptied and recycling is sorted correctly


• Following a detailed cleaning checklist to maintain consistency and high standards


• Working from a live calendar of scheduled cleans to manage workload efficiently

Requirements

• Previous professional cleaning experience (holiday lets, hotels, or serviced apartments preferred)


• High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining excellent standards


• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively


• Reliable and flexible, as schedules depend on guest bookings


• Good communication skills to report issues and liaise with the property manager
