The Role
As a Weekend Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring continuity of care and emotional reassurance for our clients during weekends. You will be part of a supportive team that prioritises dignity, respect, and meaningful relationships over rushed visits.
Your responsibilities will include
- Providing personal care with sensitivity and respect
- Supporting with medication, meals, and hydration
- Offering companionship and emotional support
- Assisting with light household tasks
- Promoting independence and wellbeing at all times
- Communicating openly with the wider care team and families
