An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Delivery Manager to join a well\-established business specialising in the installation and maintenance of street furniture, signage, traffic signal infrastructure products.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and delivering a range of projects from planning through to completion. This is a varied, client\-facing position involving commercial management, procurement, subcontractors, project programming and coordination with internal purchasing and site installation teams.

Candidates should ideally have previous project management experience within street furniture, street lighting, signage, construction, streetworks or highways.

The Role

As Project Delivery Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Programming and planning projects from initial stages through to completion


• Managing contract costs, budgets and profitability


• Managing Profit \& Loss with support from the finance department


• Organising plant, labour and materials required for successful project delivery


• Organising and subcontracting specialist work packages


• Managing subcontractor and supplier valuations


• Monitoring project progress, deliveries and KPIs


• Preparing and submitting estimates and quotations alongside the estimating team


• Ensuring interim valuations are submitted in line with contractual requirements


• Identifying, substantiating and managing project variations and claims


• Preparing project\-specific Risk Assessments and Method Statements in conjunction with Health \& Safety and compliance teams


• Leading and attending technical and commercial meetings


• Negotiating with clients, suppliers and subcontractors


• Maintaining regular communication with clients and other project stakeholders


• Managing contract administration and quality control documentation

Requirements

• Previous experience in a similar Project Manager or Project Delivery Manager position


• Experience within street furniture, street lighting, signage, construction, streetworks or highways


• Strong understanding of project programming, planning and delivery


• Commercial awareness with experience managing project costs and profitability


• Experience coordinating labour, plant, materials, suppliers and subcontractors


• Confident client\-facing and stakeholder management skills


• Strong written and verbal communication skills


• Competent using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint


• Relevant Project Management qualification would be advantageous


• Full UK driving licence (essential)


• Able to work independently, manage priorities and take responsibility for project delivery
