HGV Class 2 Driver/warehouse Operative

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and professional HGV Class 2 Driver / Warehouse Operative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating flatbed lorries, delivering goods to builders merchants and on occasions, end user sites. When you are not delivering, you will support the warehouse with picking orders.

Duties

• Safely operate HGV Class 2 flatbed lorries for local and regional deliveries


• Load and unload goods efficiently, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo


• Deliver products to clients in a timely and professional manner, adhering to scheduled routes


• Assist with warehouse operations including stock organisation, picking orders and serving customers


• Conduct vehicle safety inspections before and after journeys, reporting any issues promptly


• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs in accordance with company procedures


• Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues

Experience

• Previous experience as a commercial driver or delivery driver is highly desirable


• Familiarity with flatbed vehicle operations is advantageous


• Proven track record in driving safely within busy environments and adhering to traffic regulations


• Valid driving licence with a minimum of category C (HGV Class 2\) entitlement

Pay: £33,000\.00\-£35,000\.00 per year
