The Role

As a Residential Family Support Worker, you will:

• Working waking nights, 8am \- 8pm 3/4 on 3/4 off


• Provide direct support to families, helping them develop positive routines and strengthen relationships.


• Work collaboratively with colleagues and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for children and families.


• Uphold the standards set out in the National Minimum Standards (NMS) for Ofsted, ensuring safe, nurturing, and high\-quality care.

To be successful, you must have:

• At least 2 years’ experience working with families in a similar role, or transferable skills from related work.


• A strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection.


• The ability to promote independence, resilience, and positive family functioning.


• Commitment to meeting Ofsted’s NMS requirements, including: Providing a safe, supportive, and structured environment.


• Respecting diversity and promoting equality.


• Ensuring children’s health, education, and emotional wellbeing are prioritised.


• Maintaining accurate records and contributing to care planning.
