Duties

• Assist residents or clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and mobility, ensuring comfort and dignity at all times


• Support the development and implementation of personalized care plans tailored to each individual's needs and preferences


• Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well\-being


• Maintain accurate records of care provided, including updates to care plans and daily logs


• Communicate effectively with team members, residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care


• Drive or accompany clients on errands or appointments as needed, ensuring safe transportation and adherence to schedules


• Use IT systems efficiently to document care activities and update relevant records in compliance with privacy standards

Requirements

• Proven experience working in a care home or providing home care services is highly desirable


• Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to listen actively and convey information clearly


• Basic IT literacy for managing electronic records and care documentation


• Valid driving license and ability to drive as part of your role for home visits or errands


• Knowledge of care plans, health \& safety protocols, and safeguarding procedures


• Excellent interpersonal skills with a caring, respectful attitude towards clients of all ages


• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in fast\-paced environments
