We are seeking a dedicated Hearing Aid Audiologist / Hearing Care Professional to join our team. This role involves providing expert hearing assessments, fitting and adjusting hearing aids, and delivering exceptional patient care. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology related to audiology, ensuring accurate diagnosis and personalised treatment plans. Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive hearing assessments using specialised equipment to evaluate clients’ auditory health.

  • Fit, programme, and adjust hearing aids to optimise performance and comfort for each individual.

  • Provide detailed counselling to clients regarding their hearing loss, treatment options, and device maintenance.

  • Maintain accurate patient records and document all procedures in compliance with healthcare standards.

  • Educate clients on the proper use and care of hearing aids, including troubleshooting common issues.

  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed to ensure holistic patient care.

  • Stay informed about the latest advancements in audiology technology and techniques through continuous professional development.
Experience
  • Relevant qualifications in audiology or hearing aid dispensing recognised within the UK healthcare sector.

  • Proven experience working as a Hearing Aid Audiologist or Hearing Care Professional is preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology related to the auditory system.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex information clearly and empathetically.

  • Organised with attention to detail in record keeping and treatment planning.

Pay: From £28,187\.42 per year
