As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting residents throughout the night, ensuring they remain safe, comfortable and well cared for.

Working as part of a dedicated night team, you will provide compassionate, person-centred support to older people, including those living with dementia and other complex conditions.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing compassionate care and support throughout the night


• Assisting with personal care and daily living needs


• Supporting residents with mobility and wellbeing


• Providing specialist support to residents living with dementia


• Responding appropriately to residents' needs during the night


• Building positive and trusting relationships with residents


• Promoting dignity, independence and choice


• Supporting residents with hydration and comfort


• Maintaining accurate care records


• Reporting any concerns and working closely with colleagues to maintain high standards of care

• Minimum 6 months’ experience within a care setting


• Caring, compassionate and reliable approach


• Experience or an interest in dementia care


• Strong communication and teamwork skills


• Genuine passion for supporting older people


• Patient and understanding approach


• Ability to deliver person-centred care with dignity and respect


• Comfortable working independently during night shifts


• Willingness to learn and develop within the role

• £13.00 per hour
