Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Health Care Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will provide high\-quality support to residents in care homes or individuals receiving home care. This role involves assisting with daily activities, supporting care plans, and ensuring the well\-being of those in your care. Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming


• Support individuals with mobility and daily activities to promote independence


• Follow individualised care plans to meet specific needs and preferences


• Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in residents' conditions


• Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and healthcare professionals


• Ensure a safe and clean environment in accordance with health and safety standards


• Support the organisation of activities that promote mental and physical well\-being


• Drive residents or clients when required, ensuring safe transportation

• Previous experience working within a care home or providing home care is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates


• Knowledge of care plans and procedures related to personal care and health monitoring


• Proficiency in IT systems used for record keeping and communication within healthcare settings


• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal


• Valid driving licence is preferred for roles involving transportation of residents or clients


• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills
