Health Care Assistant

Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Health Care Assistant to join our team. Duties

• Assist residents or clients with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility


• Support the development and implementation of personalised care plans


• Monitor and record health conditions, reporting any concerns to senior staff


• Provide companionship and emotional support to individuals in care settings


• Assist with medication administration as per training and care protocols


• Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents or clients


• Support with light domestic tasks within the care environment


• Drive or accompany clients on outings or appointments, where applicable


• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care

Experience

• Previous experience working in a care home or providing home care is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates


• Basic IT skills for recording information electronically


• Good command of English, both written and spoken, to ensure clear communication


• Strong communication skills to build trust and rapport with clients and team members


• Driving licence is advantageous for roles involving home visits or outings; however, it is not mandatory for all positions
