Full-time – 40hrs per week
We are recruiting for a Head of Food & Beverage to join Hale Country Club & Spa in the heart of Cheshire. This is a senior operational leadership role for an ambitious and commercially driven hospitality professional who thrives in a premium luxury environment. 
Working closely with the General Manager, the Head of Food & Beverage will oversee the full F&B operation across the club and spa, ensuring exceptional service standards, operational excellence, strong commercial performance, and an outstanding guest and member experience at all times. 
The successful candidate will lead from the front, driving smooth day-to-day execution across all food and beverage outlets while developing high-performing teams, maintaining exceptional standards, and implementing strategies to improve profitability and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities 
<ul>
<li>Lead and oversee the entire Food & Beverage operation across all outlets </li>
<li>Work closely with the General Manager to deliver operational excellence and commercial performance </li>
<li>Ensure exceptional service delivery and guest experience standards at all times </li>
<li>Drive smooth day-to-day operations, ensuring consistency across all service periods </li>
<li>Lead, motivate, train, and develop the F&B management and wider operational teams </li>
<li>Manage staffing levels, rota planning, labour controls, and team performance </li>
<li>Take ownership of departmental budgeting, forecasting, and cost control </li>
<li>Monitor financial performance, identify opportunities for growth, and implement strategies to improve revenue and profitability </li>
<li>Maintain strong stock management and inventory control procedures </li>
<li>Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and external partners </li>
<li>Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally and proactively </li>
<li>Ensure all health & safety, food hygiene, licensing, and compliance standards are consistently met </li>
<li>Implement and maintain operational procedures and service standards </li>
<li>Support the delivery of events, member experiences, and business initiatives across the club and spa </li>
<li>Lead by example with a hands-on management style and visible presence across the operation </li>
</ul>
Role Requirements 
<ul>
<li>Previous senior Food & Beverage leadership experience within a premium hospitality environment </li>
<li>Strong operational and commercial acumen </li>
<li>Experience managing large teams within fast-paced hospitality operations </li>
<li>Proven ability to drive service standards and operational performance </li>
<li>Strong financial understanding including budgeting, forecasting, labour control, and stock management </li>
<li>Excellent communication and leadership skills </li>
<li>Highly organised with strong attention to detail </li>
<li>Passionate about luxury hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences </li>
<li>Self-motivated, proactive, and solutions-focused </li>
<li>Ability to perform under pressure while maintaining high standards </li>
</ul>
