We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Gym Assistant to join the team at King Street Townhouse Spa & Gym.
As a Gym Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting our members throughout their fitness journey, maintaining exceptional standards across the gym environment, and delivering service that reflects our world-class reputation.
The Role:
You will be responsible for delivering an outstanding member experience whilst supporting the day-to-day operations of the gym floor. Your responsibilities will include:

<li data-section-id="dz98rj" data-start="2225" data-end="2355">Playing an engaging and motivating role in supporting members throughout their fitness journey and 4-week onboarding programme</li>
<li data-section-id="1be1x8o" data-start="2356" data-end="2440">Coaching, motivating and energising members during sessions and gym interactions</li>
<li data-section-id="1667mxg" data-start="2441" data-end="2527">Building strong member relationships to drive engagement, attendance and retention</li>
<li data-section-id="5ssh2z" data-start="2528" data-end="2620">Delivering high-quality gym inductions for individuals and small groups (up to 4 people)</li>
<li data-section-id="145s0qa" data-start="2621" data-end="2747">Providing a visible, approachable presence on the gym floor, supporting members with exercise programmes and equipment use</li>
<li data-section-id="t1osv8" data-start="2748" data-end="2849">Prescribing and delivering safe, effective exercise programmes tailored to guest and member needs</li>
<li data-section-id="1v3nl6s" data-start="2850" data-end="2995">Maintaining exceptional standards across the gym environment, including equipment checks, studio preparation, cleanliness and fault reporting</li>
<li data-section-id="xdxw4a" data-start="2996" data-end="3082">Responding professionally and proactively to member queries, concerns and feedback</li>
<li data-section-id="1ubaey9" data-start="3083" data-end="3176">Attending team meetings, training sessions and ongoing development activities as required</li>
</ul>
About You:

<li data-section-id="1ozx85r" data-start="3328" data-end="3435">Minimum Level 2 Fitness Instructor qualification (Level 3 Personal Trainer qualification desirable)</li>
<li data-section-id="rbis8z" data-start="3436" data-end="3526">Previous experience working as a Gym Instructor, Fitness Coach or Personal Trainer</li>
<li data-section-id="fi1lbt" data-start="3527" data-end="3597">Strong knowledge of exercise programming and safe fitness delivery</li>
<li data-section-id="1fdg0j9" data-start="3598" data-end="3667">Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills</li>
<li data-section-id="bfhmhu" data-start="3668" data-end="3721">A proactive, positive and member-focused approach</li>
<li data-section-id="19uyks1" data-start="3722" data-end="3778">Strong organisational skills and attention to detail</li>
<li data-section-id="70f52t" data-start="3779" data-end="3855">Evidence of ongoing professional development within the fitness industry</li>
<li data-section-id="103hqyl" data-start="3856" data-end="3951">Flexibility to work across a rota including evenings, weekends and peak operational periods</li>
