LWV Printworks is recruiting an experienced Graphic Designer to join our fast\-growing and highly successful print and design agency based in Chester.

Working with a portfolio of high\-profile national brands, franchises, and independent businesses, you'll become part of a creative team delivering on\-demand design and print solutions across a wide range of industries. With offices in Liverpool (HQ) and Chester, LWV has established itself as a leading specialist in print\-led design, branding, and production.

About the Role:
We are seeking a creative, customer\-focused designer with a strong understanding of both design and print production. This is a varied role where you'll be responsible for managing design projects from brief through to production, communicating directly with clients, and ensuring all artwork is produced to the highest standards.

You'll work on a diverse range of print and digital projects, often balancing multiple deadlines while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create high\-quality designs for print and digital applications.

  • Work within established brand guidelines, as well as developing creative concepts where no guidelines exist.

  • Engage directly with clients to understand their requirements and provide design solutions.

  • Gather and interpret information from customer briefs.

  • Prepare artwork to print\-ready specifications.

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.

  • Review and proof all artwork to ensure accuracy and quality.

  • Assist senior designers and collaborate with colleagues across the business.

  • Build strong relationships with customers through excellent communication and service.

  • Deal with customers face\-to\-face within our print shop environment.

  • Process customer orders and payments through our EPOS system when required.
What We're Looking For
We are looking for a practical and reliable designer who can interpret briefs and deliver high\-quality work to a deadline.

Essential Skills \& Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a graphic design role.

  • Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of creative work.

  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.

  • Experience creating artwork for print production.

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple projects.

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.

  • Experience working within brand guidelines.
It Would Be Great If You Also Have:
  • Degree or qualification in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Web Design, or a related discipline.

  • Knowledge of print production processes and finishing techniques.

  • Experience within a print shop or commercial print environment.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook and Excel.
