The Role
We are seeking a highly capable Graduate Sales Executive to join our commercial team and take responsibility for driving revenue growth.
This is not a passive graduate role. You will be expected to generate new business, manage accounts, and deliver measurable sales performance from an early stage. You will work directly with senior leadership and be given responsibility quickly.
This role is suited to individuals who are competitive, resilient, and motivated by results.
Sales \& Revenue Generation
- Proactively identify, target, and win new business across retail, foodservice, wholesale, and distribution channels
- Build and manage a pipeline of opportunities with clear accountability for conversion
- Meet and exceed defined sales targets and performance metrics
- Conduct customer meetings, product presentations, and commercial negotiations
- Manage and grow existing customer accounts, increasing revenue and margin
- Develop strong commercial relationships with key customers
- Identify opportunities for upselling, cross\-selling, and range expansion
- Track and report on sales performance, pipeline, and forecasts
- Take ownership of results, with clear accountability for performance against targets
- Work closely with production, logistics, and finance to ensure delivery and margin control
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing dynamics
- Identify commercial opportunities and risks, feeding insight into decision\-making
- Degree from a Russell Group or red\-brick university, or exceptionally strong A\-level results (A\*/A grades)
- Strong desire to build a career in sales and commercial leadership
- Competitive, driven, and motivated by performance and results
- Resilient, with the ability to handle rejection and operate under pressure
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational ability and attention to detail
- Commercially aware, numerate, and capable of analysing data
- Willing to take ownership and be accountable for outcomes
- Option to be funded through a recognised sales, commercial, or leadership qualification
- Structured study time alongside a full\-time commercial role
- Direct exposure to senior leadership and involvement in commercial strategy
- Comprehensive internal training across products, pricing, negotiation, and sales processes
- Clear and accelerated progression pathway into a senior sales or commercial management role based on performance
- Experience operating within a fast\-paced, results\-driven manufacturing environment
- Full UK driving licence and own vehicle (required)
- Willingness to travel to customer sites
- Immediate right to work in the UK is essential (no visa sponsorship)
Candidates will be required to complete a Thomas International behavioural assessment as part of our selection process, followed by a structured on\-site interview including commercial and scenario\-based assessment.
Only candidates demonstrating strong drive, resilience, and commercial capability will progress.
