Global Events Manager

Be the driving force behind our global events strategy
At MMR, we're experts in product testing, sensory science and consumer research.
We’re looking for someone to lead the global events strategy across our business, delivering a calendar of conferences, exhibitions, sponsorships and hosted events worldwide.
You'll own the events budget, manage supplier and sponsorship partnerships, measure ROI, and work with regional leaders to decide where and why we show up. Managing multiple high\-profile events simultaneously, you'll bring calm, organisation and commercial thinking to every project.
You'll also lead our Campaigns \& Events Executive and partner closely with our Global Campaigns Manager, ensuring every event is expertly delivered and effectively promoted
Key Responsibilities
What you’ll be doing
- Own the global events strategy and annual events calendar, ensuring activity aligns with business and marketing priorities.
- Lead the delivery of conferences, exhibitions, sponsorships and webinars from planning through to execution and reporting.
- Manage event budgets, supplier relationships and sponsorship negotiations, maximising ROI and commercial value.
- Drive thought leadership opportunities, including speaking submissions, workshops and conference presentations.
- Partner with sales, marketing and operations teams to maximise lead generation, event performance and follow\-up activity.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, event organisers and industry partners.
- Line manage and develop a Campaigns \& Events Executive, ensuring priorities are effectively balanced across campaigns and events.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
What You'll Bring* 5\+ years of international B2B events experience.
- A track record of delivering high\-impact conferences, trade shows and webinars.
- Strong commercial acumen, including budget ownership and sponsorship negotiation.
- Exceptional organisational and project management skills.
- Confidence working with senior stakeholders and global teams.
- A willingness to travel across the UK and Europe.
