Female Brain Injury Support Worker (Part time)

Rebound Care and Support are seeking to recruit flexible experienced female brain injury support worker (who has strong background in mental health) to support our client. Our client is a female who lives in Wallingford OX10 area.
Our client is 16 years old, and she is diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy. She is not accessing education at the moment, and although there is some engagement with therapy, she currently is spending the majority of the day at home. This role involves supporting client in her routine, ensuring her safety, comfort, and well\-being. Focusing on rehabilitation, structure, emotional well\-being, and promoting independence. The role will focus on providing personalised support to enhance our client’s independence. You will be working in close collaboration with the client’s MDT team. Due to the client needs, we are currently looking for female staff who have full driving licence and have got access to their own vehicle.
Shifts:
3 shifts per week – Monday and Friday – 08:00\-17:30, Wednesday – 08:30\-17:30\.
Alternate Saturday will be required.
Pay:
Monday to Friday \- £17\.00 p/h. Saturday \- £18\.50 p/h.
Responsibilities
- Following personalised support plans and risk assessments
- Assist individuals in accessing community ( as and when needed) to improve their quality of life.
- Support individuals in setting and achieving their personal goals.
- Provide guidance and support to the client, ensuring best practices and a person\-centered approach.
- Assist service users attend health activities.
- Ensure accurate record\-keeping of all support provided, maintaining professional and respectful documentation.
- We are looking for supportive, patient and committed team members to provide the care during the day.
- The Ideal candidates will need to have experience in working with BI clients, attention to detail and have a can\-do attitude.
An enhanced DBS check \& full training will be provided prior to commencing work with our client and you will also be supported by our clinical lead nurse for the area.
