We are expanding our Gas \& Plumbing Division and are looking for an experienced Gas Safe Registered Gas \& Plumbing Engineer to join our growing team.

The Candidate We Are Looking For

We are looking for a highly experienced Gas Safe Registered Gas \& Plumbing Engineer with strong technical ability and excellent customer service skills.

The ideal candidate will be confident working independently and dealing directly with customers.

Essential Requirements

• Current Gas Safe registration


• Current relevant ACS qualifications


• CCN1 or equivalent core gas competency


• Relevant appliance competencies


• Strong practical gas engineering experience


• Strong plumbing experience


• Boiler servicing and repair experience


• Gas safety inspection experience


• Full UK driving licence


• Right to work in the UK


• Good customer service and communication skills


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team


• Willingness to genuinely undertake gas and plumbing work on behalf of Lucy \& Phil Ltd


• Willingness for relevant engineer details and competencies to be included within the company's Gas Safe registration

Gas Qualifications

The following are highly desirable:

• CENWAT


• CPA1


• CKR1


• HTR1


• Additional domestic gas competencies


• Commercial Gas ACS


• Commercial heating experience

Plumbing Experience

The ideal candidate should be confident carrying out:

• General plumbing repairs


• Hot and cold water systems


• Pipework


• Leaking pipes and fittings


• Toilets and cisterns


• Taps and valves


• Sinks and basins


• Showers


• Radiators


• Central heating plumbing


• Pumps


• Water heaters


• Bathroom repairs and installations


• Plumbing fault finding


• Preventative maintenance


• Property maintenance

Additional plumbing qualifications are highly desirable.

Own Van \& Tools

Own van and professional tools are highly desirable.

Candidates with their own fully equipped van, professional plumbing and gas tools and calibrated testing equipment are particularly encouraged to apply.

Pay \& Earning Potential

£250–£400 per day, depending on:

• Experience

Highly experienced and multi\-skilled engineers can qualify for the upper end of the range.

Main Responsibilities

You will be responsible for carrying out gas and plumbing work safely, efficiently and professionally, including:

Gas \& Heating

• Boiler servicing


• Boiler repairs


• Boiler installation


• Gas appliance installation


• Gas appliance servicing


• Gas safety inspections


• Landlord gas safety checks


• Fault finding


• Diagnostics


• Central heating


• Heating repairs


• Preventative maintenance

Plumbing

• Plumbing repairs


• Installation and replacement of plumbing fixtures


• Pipework


• Water systems


• Bathroom plumbing


• Radiators


• Pumps

You will also work alongside our construction, electrical, cleaning, maintenance and property services teams.
