We are seeking a motivated and skilled Gas / Heating Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting heating systems and gas appliances across residential properties. Your expertise will ensure safe, efficient, and reliable heating solutions for our clients. Duties
- Install, service, and repair gas boilers, central heating systems, and related appliances in accordance with safety regulations and manufacturer guidelines
- Conduct routine inspections to identify issues and perform preventative maintenance to extend equipment lifespan
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and carpentry skills to assemble or modify heating components as needed
- Diagnose mechanical faults using basic math and technical knowledge to determine the best course of action
- Perform heavy lifting of equipment and materials safely during installation or repair tasks
- Maintain detailed service records, logs, and reports for each job performed
- Assist with plumbing tasks related to heating systems, including pipe fitting and system flushing
- Proven experience working as a Gas / Heating Engineer or in a similar role within the plumbing industry
- Valid certification or license for gas work (e.g., Gas Safe registration or equivalent)
- Mechanical knowledge of heating systems, boilers, and related components
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and basic carpentry techniques
- Strong understanding of plumbing principles and system assembly processes
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in various environments
- Valid driver’s license and own transport.
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and troubleshooting tasks
Pay: £40,000\.00\-£60,000\.00 per year
