Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Function Suite Assistant Manager to oversee daily operations within our busy venue environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, exceptional organisational skills, and the ability to manage a diverse team effectively. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a vibrant team, ensuring excellent customer service and smooth management of store functions. Fluency in multiple languages is highly desirable to facilitate communication with a diverse clientele and staff.
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing daily store operations, ensuring high standards of customer service and operational efficiency
- Supervise and motivate team members to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding service
- Oversee merchandising activities, maintaining visual standards aligned with brand guidelines
- Support sales management initiatives, analysing performance data to optimise sales strategies
- Coordinate staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage during peak hours and special events
- Handle administrative tasks such as stock control, reporting, and maintaining documentation
- Foster a positive work environment through effective communication and leadership
- Provide training and mentorship to new staff members, promoting professional development
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the store environment
- Proven management experience within retail or similar customer\-facing environments
- Supervising experience with demonstrated team management capabilities
- Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities
- Exceptional communication skills, including phone etiquette and interpersonal skills
- Multilingual or bilingual proficiency is highly advantageous for engaging with diverse customers and staff
- Experience in merchandising, sales management, and administrative functions is preferred
- Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively
- Organisational skills necessary for scheduling, stock control, and reporting tasks
- Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail
- Personal license holder
Pay: £16\.00 per hour
