Overview
We are seeking a proactive, results\-driven Business Development Executive to join our growing AV and live event production team. You'll be the person out front \- opening doors and building relationships with venues and hotels, agencies, brands and corporate clients across Scotland and key UK cities. Working closely with our Head of Sales \& Partnerships, you'll generate new opportunities through proactive outreach by phone, email and LinkedIn, and turn first conversations into long\-term clients. This is a hands\-on, relationship\-led role for someone who loves being client\-facing and is energised by hitting targets.
Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through market research, networking, and lead generation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Prepare compelling sales presentations and proposals to secure new contracts.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding of new clients and delivery of services. Especially Marketing making sure you have everything needed for success.
- Qualify enquiries and progress opportunities through the sales process, working closely with the Head of Sales \& Partnerships.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions and pipeline status in our CRM.
- Conduct site visits and venue walkrounds with/\& without prospective clients.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and meetings to promote the organisation's offerings.
- Understanding of tender process in the public \& private sector
- Proven sales experience, ideally within hotels, venues or events.
- Confident using CRM software to manage a pipeline.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Self\-motivated with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel for client meetings and site visits.
- A recognised qualification in business, marketing, or related fields is advantageous but not essential. We seek proven experience over qualifications.
Package: base \+ OTE \+ uncapped
Pay: £24,420\.00\-£30,000\.00 per year
